Fern&Co was born in Istanbul from the encounter between Turkish artisan tradition and the inspiration of California's Muir Woods forests. We work with carefully selected materials: high-fired porcelain crafted in Anatolia known for its exceptional durability, premium melamine that combines strength and design, and natural textiles like European linen of the highest quality. Each material reflects a philosophy where functionality and beauty coexist naturally.

Artisan Process

Our pieces are created by Turkish artisans who inherit techniques passed down through generations. Porcelain undergoes high-temperature firing processes that guarantee its resistance, while textiles are crafted in specialized workshops that master ancestral embroidery and weaving techniques. The distinctive watercolor technique that characterizes our collections is applied to both porcelain and melamine, creating unique gradients where colors flow naturally, evoking Mediterranean landscapes and ancient forests. Care Ritual

CERAMIC TABLEWARE (Plates, Bowls, Trays)

Daily Use: Dishwasher safe on a delicate cycle (max. 60°C) using mild, non-abrasive detergents. Avoid sudden temperature changes to preserve the integrity of the product.

Noble Preservation: Store with soft dividers between items, avoiding stacking more than 6 plates. Immediately clean acidic food stains to maintain the purity of the finish.

Gentle Restoration: For stubborn stains, rub gently with baking soda and warm water. Minor wear marks enhance the unique handcrafted character of each piece.

MELAMINE TABLEWARE (Outdoor Plates, Casual Bowls, Garden Trays)

Practical Versatility: Shock-resistant and perfect for outdoor use. Dishwasher safe on any cycle, avoiding microwaves and ovens.

Easy Care: Clean with any household detergent. Stain and fade resistant, maintaining the vibrancy of watercolor designs.

CUPS AND GLASSES (Turkish Coffee, Tea, Mugs, Espresso)

Daily Ritual: Perfect for beverages up to 80°C. Preheat with warm water for traditional Turkish coffee. Top-rack dishwasher safe.

Ceremonial Care: Dry thoroughly before storing, rotating use between pieces in the set. For Turkish coffee, rinse immediately; for tea stains, white vinegar diluted with warm water.

TEXTILES (Napkins, Tablecloths, Placemats)

Mediterranean Wash: Cold or warm water max. 30°C with mild detergent, separating dark colors in the first wash.

Natural Drying: Hang in the shade; avoid dryers. Iron inside out at medium heat; store folded along natural lines.

DECORATIVE PIECES (Large Trays, Collection)

Reverent Handling: Always carry with both hands, individually. Clean daily with a soft, damp cloth, warm water, and mild soap for deep cleaning.
