This silk pillow has two sides. One side is made of striped silk fabric and the other side is made of kutnu fabric. I sew the pillowcase myself. The striped pillow has a hidden zipper. The pillowcase measures 40x40 cm. Kutnu is a fabric with a shiny surface and vertical coloured stripes, made from silk warps (longitudinal threads) and cotton wefts (transverse threads) and woven on hand looms. In Turkey, the art of kutnu weaving is practiced only in Gaziantep and is the earliest example of the art of textile printing.
