Kutnu Silk Cushion Cover with Embroidery - Pink Flower of Life

The flower of life is a geometric shape made up of 19 overlapping circles. It is a form of sacred geometry that represents space and time since ancient times. It is believed to represent the creation of life and carries its secret.

The front of the pillow is made of kutnu. Kutnu is a fabric with a shiny surface and colorful vertical stripes, made from silk warps (longitudinal threads) and cotton wefts (transverse threads) and woven on hand looms. In Turkey, the art of kutnu weaving is practiced only in Gaziantep and is the earliest example of the art of textile printing.

The cushion measures 50 x 30 cm. The silk pillow has a hidden zipper. The back of the pink cushion is made of cotton.
