Each Prickly Pears product is handwoven in the ancient city of Antioch by artisans using traditional kara tezgah looms and wooden looms, preserving centuries-old techniques passed down through generations.

Our collection is made from 100% natural cotton , often raw, untreated, or recycled, making it durable, biodegradable, and safe for skin . All textiles are OEKO-TEX certified and dyed using natural, chemical-free methods, protecting both you and the planet.

We work in collaboration with a network of family workshops and local artisans , fostering a culture of resilient craftsmanship based on ethical production and fair wages. From the cotton to the last stitch, each element is sourced locally in the same region, reducing environmental impact and maintaining cultural continuity.

For care, we recommend hand washing in cold water or machine washing with a gentle spin cycle. Do not use a dryer or bleach; hang to air dry is best. With each wash, your garment will become softer and more comfortable . Especially after swimming, a quick wash in cold water without detergent is recommended, which helps maintain the vibrant colors and further soften the cotton's texture.
